While most of your friends may settle for the comforts of a limited edition Lotus or a classic fully restored muscle car; there's still nothing that competes with the one-of-kind-villain-pounding-speed-demon-jetblack-cruiser AKA The Batmobile.
Built on top of the chassis of a 1970's Lincoln Continental, this Swedish engineered bad-boy was built over the last three and half years. According to a report from Bilfeber the car is outfitted with the best of Batman gadgetry, including (but not limited to): "satellite navigation, voice recognition...DVD, reversing cameras, height adjustable bodywork, DVD, Plasma"
Exclusivity is one of the most valued qualities of any high end item, and what could be more valuable than $1,000,000+ hand-built Batmobile?
...Well, a Swedish engineered $1,000,000+ Bat-plane of course.
Car & Driver have just posted their videos from the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show. Here's the first few, and you can visit their youtube channel to see when they post more.
Tell us, which one of the following exotic sports cars do you want most? I'm leaning toward the Porsche because of Germany reliability, it's relatively less flashy and with a turbo your tuning ability is through the roof in the event you want more power. But that Mercedes Gullwing is quite eye-catching also, and has a lot of heritage with it. Tough choice!

2010 Porsche 911 Turbo
2010 Maserati GranCabrio
2010 Lamborghini Reventón Roadster
2011 Audi R8 5.2 V10 FSI Quattro Spyder
2011 Aston Martin Rapide
2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost
2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing

If you're in the Northern California area on the 4th of October, you may want to take a small break in your busy day and head over to the Niello Concours over at the Serrano Visitors Center, located approximately 90 minutes from Lake Tahoe, taking place on the green over in El Dorado Hills, CA.
Taking a cue from the larger Concours d'Elegance, this year, the Niello Concours will highlight some of the top Italian machines from a variety of eras - so there is bound to be something for every enthusiast or classic car lover. If you're really adventurous, you could use this as an excuse to trailer out your GTB and enter it in the show.
In tribute to this year's Italian theme, we've listed the Italian winners from 2008:
Top Gear is one of my favorite shows, probably more because of the host's attitudes that the actual show. Well I just ran across a couple new uploads on YouTube comparing 2 classic ultra-luxury vehicles, a 1963 Mercedes 600 Limousine vs a 1972 Rolls Royce Corniche Coupe.
Autoweek yesterday announced their list of 10 Great and Safe Rides for Teens but we think this is so boring, not to mention the list of cars is horrid and I'd never want to see even my childrens' school teachers driving these. What am I saying? My kids are privately educated - at home - but I think the point is made.
This has inspired me to pick 12 Cool Cars for Teens who have money. I've set the price limit a low $50k (since it's not good to just give money away to your children - they have to earn it) and the car must be new, as a 2009 or 2010 model year car. Here's what I've come up with, in no particular order.
1. BMW 135i
BMW has long been known for making safe, fun cars and the 135 doesn't fail to deliver. Compact and very well balanced, it makes good use of the twin-turbo 300hp engine. If that's not enough, turn to Dinan and for the dollar difference from mid-30's to our 50k limit you'll have a street rocket like no other, still in full warranty and free maintenance.
Why not party like a rock star when you're celebrating a special occasion? Maybe you just need to add a little spice and excitement to your life. Whatever the case may be, a unique limo to escort you around town is a perfect option.
You can feel like a king or queen in the newest and hottest versions of a hummer limo, Escalade limo, limo-bus, Chrysler limo, Navigator limo, etc. Most people have seen these classy stretch automobiles gliding down the road gracefully, but these are the most common limos. You can find these platinum rides HERE.
SO, what are some of the really wild, crazy and unique limos that you rarely see around town? There are actually companies out there that will put a huge lift kit on any type of limo you want raised. These can catch any eye. It makes you wonder how they are legal and one is actually capable of driving such an outlandish vehicle. If you want the heads to turn, one of these lifted limos will do the trick!
Ferrari 360 Carbon Fiber Limo

This unique vehicle was designed By Dan Cawley who is renowned for his unique and crazy limos. Too bad it's in the UK. I'm sure the idea has already made its way to the U.S. Dan Commissioned Carbonyte UK to build this vehicle, Carbonyte UK is the pioneer of Hot Fusion Composite Manufacturing Technology that was used on the McLaren SLR Supercar. You can see his website HERE.
Boeing 727 Limo
Check out this Boeing 727 that was converted into a limo. Crazy and brilliant at the same time. Engaget is the company that is based out of Mexico and has taken the wings off the Boeing and turned it into a big diesel-powered car, capable of whizzing 50 people along the highway, at up to 200 kilometers an hour. A spare $1,500 will be able to book a three hour trip in the converted 727, taking advantage of its dance club, bar and lounge.
Harley Davidson Limo Motorcycle
There is actually a limo Harley that will carry 8 to 10 riders! How is this safe? Looks a little daring, but I bet it is loads of fun. There are also old-time Cadillac limos, new sleek corvette limos, and even a tank limo, again, it originated in the UK.
The white tank limo holds up to eight passengers and three crew members to operate the road machine. It costs around $3,300 to $8,233 per night. Check out tanklimo to see more on this hot road warrior.
Hot tubs, video games and computers can too add to the uniqueness of any limo. It all depends on personal preference. So, do some research and find which unique limo suites you best! These are only a few of the many unique limousines out there.
Make any day or night a memorable experience by cruising in one of these babies.
Today we take another look at eBay, hunting for bargains for the super rich. The find of the day is this extremely rare 2008 Bugatti Veyron, pricing at a measly $1.65 million.
The Bugatti Veyron is a very, very limited production car - this particular model has only 228 miles on it and is the 168th one of its type to be made. It goes really fast - up to 253 miles per hour via is top end 10001 HP. The buyer is responsible for picking up or shipping this vehicle from its current location in Troy, Michigan. If this doesn't float your boat for some reason, you can also check out this dealer's other cars, including this 2005 Ford GT which is pricing around $145,500.
Electric cars seem so futuristic. Some believe the technology still has years of research before it is fully developed, but does it? A new car company is taking the all-electric car concept and creating an automobile that pushes the envelope of imagination.
The Venturi Fetish is unlike any other automobile made today. This entirely electric sports car is manufactured in Monaco by car builders who believe that the only things to consider, aside from an electric engine, are good looks and incredible performance. This two-seat roadster is unequaled in its unique design as well as its all-electric motor.
The Fetish is hand-constructed of carbon fiber materials for a completely aerodynamic look and performance. The car has an electric traction motor, which allows it to move at full speed even from a complete standstill, reaching 60 mph in less than 5 seconds. The Fetish uses an internal lithium battery that can be fully recharged in three hours and can propel the car for over 280 kilometers (more than 170 miles) on one charge. The interior of the car looks as futuristic as the outside, but Venturi promises that ownership of this high-tech vehicle is easy.
The Venturi Fetish will be available in June of this year but only to very select clientele. The company only plans to manufacture 25 of these amazing cars and the waiting period for construction of the vehicle is four months.
Most people equate the word Lexus with luxury, and with good reason. Since launching in 1989, Lexus has offered some of the most well engineered and extravagantly equipped vehicles in the world. The company continuously provides stellar service to its customers and Lexus models have won an abundance of prestigious awards year after year. Today Lexus is continuing to build luxury vehicles but with an eye on helping out Mother Earth.
The Lexus RX400h has been called the only “truly luxury” SUV hybrid on the market today. It combines a gasoline-powered engine with electric motor/generators and a battery pack that recharges without ever needing a plug. The vehicle is speedy too, going from 0-60 mph in less than 8 seconds with its 268-horsepower engine. The great fuel economy and low emissions of the RX will give you great satisfaction when pulling this SUV out of the driveway for short trips to the grocery or long drives in the country.
The interior is sleek and modern, with many luxury amenities you would expect from Lexus, including dual-climate control, 10-way power front seats and rear sliding/reclining seats.
Some of the coolest exterior options on the RX are the swiveling headlamps, which allow the driver to see around bends and corners, the rear-mounted, back-up camera and the self-adjusting cruise control.
With all the superb features of the RX isn't it time you chose to do your part for the planet?
