They are asking for a 10% deposit of $20,000 to secure a numbered seat reservation in this category and expect to start flying this group during the second year of operation.

More affordable suborbital space tourism is viewed as a money-making proposition by several other companies, including Starchaser, Blue Origin, Armadillo Aerospace, XCOR Aerospace, Rocketplane Limited, the European “Project Enterprise” and others.

Most are proposing vehicles that make suborbital flights peaking at an altitude of 100-160 kilometres.  Passengers would experience three to six minutes of weightlessness, a view of a twinkle-free starfield, and a vista of the curved Earth below.  Projected costs are expected to be about $200,000 per passenger.

Boeing 727 Limo

Check out this Boeing 727 that was converted into a limo.  Crazy and brilliant at the same time.  Engaget is the company that is based out of Mexico and has taken the wings off the Boeing and turned it into a big diesel-powered car, capable of whizzing 50 people along the highway, at up to 200 kilometers an hour.  A spare $1,500 will be able to book a three hour trip in the converted 727, taking advantage of its dance club, bar and lounge.

Harley Davidson Limo Motorcycle

There is actually a limo Harley that will carry 8 to 10 riders!  How is this safe?  Looks a little daring, but I bet it is loads of fun.  There are also old-time Cadillac limos, new sleek corvette limos, and even a tank limo, again, it originated in the UK.

Today we take another look at eBay, hunting for bargains for the super rich. The find of the day is this extremely rare 2008 Bugatti Veyron, pricing at a measly $1.65 million.

The Bugatti Veyron is a very, very limited production car - this particular model has only 228 miles on it and is the 168th one of its type to be made. It goes really fast - up to 253 miles per hour via is top end 10001 HP. The buyer is responsible for picking up or shipping this vehicle from its current location in Troy, Michigan. If this doesn’t float your boat for some reason, you can also check out this dealer’s other cars, including this 2005 Ford GT which is pricing around $145,500.

Duties include: assisting the captain aboard the boat, raising and lowering sails, boat clean up and maintenance and working with customers. Sailing experience and/or a business/tourism background a plus.
